"I was very pleased to hear that one of our Observing Team - Neil Snow - has been asked to join the Regional Observing Team, together with existing Regional Observer Team members David Hage and Roger Ewens.  Neil took his Senior Observer test with Examiner Trevor Dickenson in May 2010 who expressed his delight at Neil's standard of observing.  Neil had been helped for his Senior Observer test by Roger Ewens.

 Due to popular demand, Terry Towler, Regional Co-ordinator, is proposing to run a further Observer Training day in Nottingham on 16th October. It will be presented at great expense by Trevor Dickinson and supported by selected examiners and the Regional Training Team.

 Whilst it will be initially offered to Senior Observers, Group Qualified Observers and Trainee Observers are welcome to apply.

 It is intended that as previously sessions will be run and supervised by the Regional Training Team when specific topics will be used and also by examiners who will assess driving skills etc.

 The price will be £15 per head which will cover all meals/refreshments etc which will be paid for by the Group. The use of groups finances in this way has been cleared with the Charities Commission.

 Please let me know ASAP and definitely by the 28th June if you would like to attend.
